Role PurposeA field based role on an initial 18 month contract role and a key part of the Digital Ag team. The Digital Agriculture Customer Success Specialist will work with the UK Digital Ag Manager & Regional/Global Digital Ag teams in the development and delivery of the UK Digital Ag strategy in supporting all campaigns & driving a shift to Digital Agriculture being at the heart of our business.

You will work directly with Syngenta’s UK customers on the field through direct and indirect interactions and deliver a high standard of service. Responsible for driving customer adoption and success with Syngenta’s Digital Ag platform by providing customers onboarding guidance, usage/adoption recommendations, data ingest assistance and training on platform features.

Accountabilities

Drive early success for our new customers and ensure a positive and productive start to a long relationship through specific proactive outbound efforts

Develop and set up a technology adoption plan, tracking its results so that producers are successful using Syngenta Digital tools

Gain proficiency in product functionality, learn features, benefits and how they add value to our customers operation

Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the platform

Proactively coach and guide customers to engage them along the customer journey that enable them to succeed with the platform

Provide 1:1/ 1:many training on new features to customer base to ensure product adoption

Identify opportunities to improve/optimize Customer Success operations and tools

Add expertise to the team to support Digital Ag in all campaigns

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

Critical knowledge

Background and/or education in precision farming, digital agriculture, crop agronomy or related field

An understanding of the UK seed and crop protection distribution channels and on-farm activities

First hand understanding or experience in agricultural digital ag platforms and services modern farm enterprises employ

Good understanding of future trends and anticipation of the impact of new technologies on our industry

Understanding of key communication, marketing and sales processes

Understand long term technical concept positioning whilst being able to deliver upon short term campaign imperatives

Qualifications

Critical experience

Experience working in agriculture and agronomy

Proven digital expertise and applying capabilities to support commercial operations

Experience of leading, coordinating and presenting at events and demonstrations

Experience of successfully working across functions/departments

Excellent business judgement skills combined with entrepreneurial mindset with positive, yet realistic “can do” approach
