Store Manager (Seasonal) Job at Chudleigh’s Apple Farm – Milton, ON

The Market is our one-stop retail shop for all Chudleigh’s branded products. Chudleigh’s Market is known for it’s baked goods, including, our freshly baked pies, pantry items, and more.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Retail Manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Knowledge and passion for providing exceptional customer service experiences
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a busy environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • 7Shifts Scheduling App, Revel POS experience is an asset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays/event days when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the seasonal opening and closing of the farm,
  • Forecast and order all inventory needed
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for the retail/pantry department
  • Leading and supporting the orientation for retail/pantry operations as well as training of all new employees
  • Creating schedules based on business needs
  • Prioritizes customer service above all else to achieve the highest standards of customer satisfaction and positive reviews
  • Visual merchandising of products
  • Weekly cycle inventory counts, reconciles entries with inventory on hand, controls and records any waste
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
